One-on-One Therapy
Individual therapy offers a confidential, collaborative space to explore the challenges that bring you to therapy. Together, we work to better understand the underlying patterns and contributing factors shaping your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships while developing practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.
I work with individuals experiencing:
• Anxiety, stress, and burnout
• Depression and persistent low mood
• Relationship and attachment challenges
• Low self-esteem, perfectionism, and self-doubt
• Life transitions and identity concerns
• Trauma, grief, and difficult life experiences

Couples Therapy
Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of connection and fulfillment, but they can also become a source of pain when communication breaks down, trust is damaged, or the same conflicts keep repeating. Couples often seek therapy to address:
• Communication difficulties and recurring conflict

• Emotional distance and intimacy concerns
• Parenting, life transitions, and relationship stressors
• Strengthening connection and building healthier relationship patterns

Understanding The Process
Exploring How Therapy Works
Step 01
Free Consultation
Our journey begins with a complimentary 20-minute consultation. This is an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy, ask any questions you may have, and determine whether you would like to move forward with working together.
Step 02
Initial Session
The initial session is primarily focused on understanding what has brought you to therapy and how these concerns are affecting your life. We discuss your current challenges, gather relevant background information, and begin exploring the context in which these difficulties developed.
Rather than trying to understand everything at once, the first session serves as the foundation for our work together. We identify your priorities, begin developing an initial understanding of the concerns you would like to address, and collaboratively establish therapeutic goals that will guide our work while remaining flexible as therapy progresses.
Step 03
Therapeutic Work
Therapy is an active, collaborative process that evolves over time. As we work together, we deepen our understanding of the patterns, beliefs, emotions, and past experiences that may be influencing your current difficulties. Alongside developing insight, we introduce practical strategies and evidence-based interventions to help you respond differently, strengthen emotional resilience, and create meaningful changes in your daily life.
As therapy is a highly individual process, and there is no universal timeline for change. The pace and focus of our work are shaped by your unique experiences, goals, and the complexity of the concerns you bring to therapy. While some clients notice meaningful shifts within the first 4 to 6 sessions, for others, deeper and more sustainable change develops over a longer period of time.
Throughout therapy, we will regularly reflect on your progress, refine our goals as needed, and adapt our approach to ensure our work remains relevant, purposeful, and responsive to your evolving needs.
Step 04
Integration
As new insights, skills, and ways of responding begin to take hold, the focus shifts toward using them more consistently in daily life. We explore how the work translates into your relationships, decisions, emotional responses, boundaries, and ability to manage challenges outside the therapy room.
Integration is not simply understanding something intellectually. It involves practising different responses until they become more accessible and natural, while also learning how to recognize and respond when older patterns reappear.
Step 05
Completion
Therapy moves toward completion when the concerns that brought you to therapy have been meaningfully addressed and you feel increasingly able to navigate challenges independently. We review the progress you have made, identify what has been most helpful, consolidate the tools and perspectives you want to carry forward, and consider how you will maintain these changes over time.
Completion does not need to be abrupt. Sessions may become less frequent as you prepare to conclude. Some clients finish therapy at this stage, while others choose occasional follow-up sessions or return later when facing a new transition, challenge, or period of growth.
